About the PhD Gremlin Slayer

Strong is fighting. It’s hard and it’s painful, and it’s every day. It’s what we have to do. And we can do it together.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Hello there! Thank you for visiting my blog. Like my fellow Slayer, Buffy, I believe that we’re stronger together in getting through this little thing called a PhD thesis/dissertation.

This blog is all about slaying those gremlins that commonly pop up during the PhD process. My aim is to share the tactics I use to slay my gremlins, and I hope that, in doing so, others will also share their own slaying methods and we can continue to grow and learn from each other during this adventure.

My name is Natasha, and I am an Australian PhD student at the University of New South Wales’ Canberra campus. My thesis investigates the use of leadership styles across time and regime type by select presidents in Venezuela.
